CASE STUDY

Built on principle. Now built online.

A tenet is a principle. Tenet Benefits was a new advisory practice with plenty of both and no website. We helped shape the positioning, then designed and built the site.

About the client

Tenet is an independent advisor that works for the employer, not a carrier. The team brings more than ten years of carrier-side experience to plan design, renewals, retirement plans and carrier selection, for associations, non-profits, tech start-ups and growing local businesses.

Pre-existing conditions

No website, and still deciding how to present the practice. Employers choose a benefits advisor on trust, and most advisor websites look and read alike: same policy, different logo. The aim was a clear, independent voice and one obvious next step for an employer, a 30-minute call.

What's covered

Fine print first

Before any design, we worked through who Tenet serves, how an independent advisor differs from a carrier, and what an employer needs to see before booking a call. That shaped the structure and the message.

Coverage, in plain English

Two lines of advice, group benefits and group retirement, and a three-step approach (assess, define, structure) that an employer can follow in one scroll.

Looks the part

We created the brand: a navy and gold identity with a serif wordmark, so the site reads as an advisory practice and not a carrier brochure.

A self-directed plan

Pages and Insights articles are edited in a content management system, so the Tenet team can publish on plans, renewals and compliance without a developer.

Found when it matters

Structured data, a sitemap and an RSS feed for Insights, plus a plain-text summary that helps AI assistants describe Tenet correctly.

Enquiries, fully covered

Server-side validation and layered spam protection. Employer enquiries are stored privately and sent to the team.

The site

The Our approach section of tenetbenefits.ca: a navy panel reading Accessible, Decisive, Uncompromising, beside a three-step list of Assessment, Define and Structure
The approach in three steps, written for an HR lead with twenty minutes.
The Tenet Benefits homepage on a phone, with the same navy hero headline and gold call button
Same advice, smaller screen.

The payout

Claim approved. Tenet launched with a site it controls: an independent benefits advisory, in its own voice, ready to be found and one step from a first call. No deductible.

Lead Eight is an absolute pleasure to work with. They have taken a few scraps of clumsy ideas, and have helped turn my vision into a reality. The website and brand language that they have created for my company far exceeded my expectations. Lead Eight didn't just create a website, but a brand that aligns with values. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting a brand ambassador.
